FIRETUBE BOILERS
For over 40 years, Frank I. Rounds Company has been the exclusive representative of Cleaver-Brooks. Cleaver-Brooks offers fully automatic, integrated boiler/burner packaged firetube boilers for use in industrial applications. Firetubes are available for low and high pressure steam or hot water applications. A firetube boiler is a cylindrical vessel, with the flame in the furnace and the combustion gases inside the tubes. The furnace and tubes are within a larger vessel, which contains the water and steam.

Model CB "LE" Firetube Boiler

This is the premium technology Cleaver-Brooks firetube product. It offers very high efficiency, heavy duty construction, easy inspection and repairability and offers internal induced flue gas recirculating "built-in" for low NOx and low CO.

In addition, the "LE" firetube has the following features:

Less than half the refractory
Less water for faster heat up
Boiler is physically smaller
Furnace is larger for low emission
10 to 1 turndown high performance boiler
No inner front door
Easy to remove combustion air fan cassette
No external ducts or fans for F.G.R.
Quiet operation

This is a serious boiler for serious jobs. We have never failed to meet our predicted efficiency or guaranteed low emission rates during emission testing.

Model CB Four Pass Firetube Boiler

Heavy duty premium boiler for high quality applications

Four-pass dryback design.
15 HP through 800 HP
150 – 350 psig high pressure steam.
15 psig low pressure steam
30 or 125 psig hot water
Natural gas, light oil, or heavy oil firing.

Excellent for hospitals, schools, central steam and hot water plants. Four pass offers excellent efficiency with expected life of 35-40 years or more.

New Cleaver-Brooks TrueFire Firetube Boiler

An ideal choice for the small application market!

Ten boiler sizes from 300,000 BTU/HR to 3,000,000 BTU/HR provide the flexibility for optimal boiler sizing for every heating application. The advanced boiler design guarantees an efficiency range of up to 85% on gas and up to 88% on oil. ASME construction ensures high quality design, safety and reliability. ISO 9001 certified manufacturing process ensures the highest degree of manufacturing standards is always followed.

Cleaver-Brooks Model CEW

CEW is a three pass wet back firetube boiler that is offered to meet occasional specifications asking for three pass design. It uses a Cleaver-Brooks Pro-Fire burner, a bolt-on gun type burner design. This product is competitive with other three pass designs but provides the Cleaver-Brooks construction quality, service and parts backup. It is less expensive than the four pass product but offers slightly less fuel to water efficiency.

Cleaver-Brooks Model CBE

CBE is a three pass dry back firetube boiler that is offered to occasional specifications asking for the three pass design. It uses a Cleaver-Brooks Pro-Fire burner but can be equipped with other burners such as Webster or Power Flame in some cases. It is very price competitive and offers many features and good performance for the price. It is manufactured with Cleaver-Brooks quality and has excellent parts and service backup. It is slightly less efficient than the four pass unit.
