Model PS and IPS are modular, prefabricated piping systems which embody flanged joints designed for both quick assembly and pressure sealing capabilities. They offer a combination of insulated piping components as well as the structural accessories needed for support and attachment to building structures. Suscon Stacks' most produced design is a guyed or laterally supported stack. Suscon Stacks are used where high temperatures, corrosive conditions or longevity of the product life is desired. The stack's component construction is a factory built, refractory lined and steel jacketed design.

The advantage of using this type of stack over an insulated double wall stack for a project are easily recognizable; product life and economy of price. For the amount that a customer will typically spend on a double wall chimney and duct, they could purchase a Suscon Stack for less. More importantly, they can be certain it will be performing long after the double wall stack has to be replaced. It is very easy to understand why the city building codes of New York and Chicago dictate the sole use of refractory lined materials.

Our stack design is typically based on Underwriters Laboratories UL 959 requirements, ensuring the design engineer and ultimately the customer, a proven design and product. When support requirements differ from the UL recommendations, Suscon Stacks has the engineers capable to design the stack to meet the specific needs.

Suscon Stacks are available with a variety of refractory linings. The UL listed refractory is our SC-l which is suitable for continuous temperatures of 1800F. If requirements dictate a higher temperature, Suscon Stacks can offer SC-2 suitable for 2,600 F continuous or our SC-3 which is capable of performing at 3,000 F. Suscon Stacks can also line a stack with a custom refractory based on a client's requirements. Steel jacket availability ranges from 24 gauge galvanized to various plate thicknesses using A-36, weathering or stainless steels.

Suscon Stacks can be finished in a variety of ways. They can be shipped in primer only for field painting at the site or they can be finish painted at our factory.

EXHAUSTO's Chimney Automation System (CASV) is for installation and use with multiple and/or modulating boilers and water heaters. It can be used in conjunction with almost any type of appliance and fuel, whether it be forced draft, atmospheric or condensing design.

The Chimney Automation System maintains a perfect, constant draft for the appliances by modulating the chimney fan capacity. The system is activated when there is a call for heat. It will create and maintain a pre-set draft prior to or immediately after the appliance fires.

The system monitors the draft condition at any time and has an integrated safety function. Should the draft fall more than 40% below the set point for more than 12 seconds, it will deactivate the appliances to prevent a potentially hazardous situation.

Modulating Combustion Makeup Air Systems

EXHAUSTO's Modulating Combustion Air System, MCAS, is for installation and use in mechanical rooms containing heating appliances, like boilers and water heaters, or commercial laundry dryers.

The purpose of the system is to provide an exactly measured amount of combustion air for the appliances and eliminate the use of gravity air louvers.
It can be used in conjunction with any type of combustion system, whether a boiler, furnace, commercial dryer, etc. that is gas or oil-fired.

The MCAS System maintains a perfect, constant mechanical room pressure during the combustion process by modulating the fan capacity. The system creates and maintains a preset room pressure prior to or immediately after the appliances start. It can also be set to run continuously.

The system monitors the mechanical room pressure condition all of the time, and has an integrated safety function. Should the operating pressure fall more than 40% below the set point for more than 12 seconds, it deactivates the appliances to prevent a potentially hazardous situation.
